NEET PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2022: To apply for NEET PG 2022, the candidate must have an MBBS degree and an internship that must be completed on or by July 31, 2022, according to the eligibility criteria. NEET PG 2022 Application Form may be found here.

  • Indian citizens and foreign nationals who have completed their primary medical education at medical schools outside of India and have passed the FMGE Screening Test are eligible to take the test.
  • The NEET PG reservation criteria have also been amended for the 50% AIQ seats, but the reservation criteria for the 50% State quota seats will be determined by the rules of the individual state.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2022

The minimum requirements for applicants of various categories to write the NEET PG exam are stated in the NEET PG exam eligibility. Apart from the designated categories, there are unique eligibility standards for foreign medical graduates and foreign nationals. There are also 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats available. Candidates must explicitly identify which category they fit under when applying for the exam, and the information provided must match the information on their official credentials.

For the NEET PG eligibility criteria 2022, there are three general clauses that apply to all candidates, regardless of their category:

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2022 - 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) Seats

While filling out their application forms, candidates can apply for the 50% AIQ seats.

  • According to the NEET PG eligibility criteria 2022, candidates from the state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for the 50% AIQ seats.
  • Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir who are nominated by the Indian government for central pool seats and are pursuing MBBS at medical colleges in J&K would be eligible for the 50% AIQ seats. Such candidates must provide a suitably signed affidavit stating their nomination by the Government of India as per the category in order to meet the NEET PG 2022 eligibility requirement. Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Medical Graduates in NEET PG 2022

  • The NEET PG Eligibility Criteria are for Indian individuals who earned their primary medical degrees from medical schools located outside of India. The following are the requirements for international medical graduates:
  • Candidates who are foreign medical graduates must pass the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test.
  • Candidates are required to register with the MCI/SMC.
  • Candidates must have completed their one-year internship programme by the given deadline.
  • On the day of the exam, candidates must provide their FMGE pass certificate issued by the NBE.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Students in 2022

For foreign nationals, the NEET PG eligibility criteria for 2022 are as follows:

  • Foreign national applicants do not need to register with MCI to take the NEET PG test starting in 2019.
  • In circumstances when foreign national candidates must pay the registration fee, the MCI will grant temporary registrations.
  • The registration will only be valid for the duration of the postgraduate study, as per the eligibility conditions. The candidate's registration will be restricted to the medical institution to which he or she has applied.
  • To get temporary registration, foreign national candidates must have registered with a competent authority in their home country.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2022 Factors

In order to avoid having their nomination invalidated by the exam conducting organisation, candidates must keep certain points in mind regarding the NEET PG eligibility criteria 2022.

  • If a candidate is discovered to have violated the NEET PG 2022 eligibility criteria, NBE maintains the right to cancel their candidature at any stage of the exam and admission process. This refers to a situation in which a candidate is discovered to be ineligible after the admissions procedure has been completed.
  • Candidates must finish their one-year internship within the time frame specified, and requests for extensions will not be considered.
  • Candidates must submit only one application form for the year in which they wish to apply.

Medical Service Institutions for Armed Forces

Candidates who want to apply for MD/MS/PG Diploma seats in the Armed Medical Services should select the option (Institutions of Armed Medical Services) when filling out the application form. For AFMC, aspirants must complete a separate NEET PG Registration Process. Afmcdg1.gov.in is the AFMC's online registration website.

In Armed Forces Institutions offering Post Graduate Courses, there is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH applicants.
