Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Domicile: Candidates from their home state must have a Karnataka domicile in order to be considered for a reservation.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Reservations

  • Only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation under the Karnataka PGCET 2022 Reservation Policy.
  • SC, ST, and Category-I are the reserved categories for Karnataka candidates.
  • Candidates from the Hyderabad-Karnataka region are eligible for reservation if they show an eligibility certificate from the Assistant Commissioner in charge.
  • Ex-Defense Special Category (Code- U) Reservation: Ex-wards servicemen's can obtain a certificate from the Joint Director / Deputy Director of the respective district, countersigned by the Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, Bangalore, stating the parent's home address. This reservation does not apply to M.E., M.Tech, or M.Arch courses.
  • Candidates with disabilities are given priority. Candidates with a disability of 40% or more are eligible for 3% of total seats in government and government-related organisations.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Application form
