In the third week of October, the CAT admit card 2023 will be available for download. Candidates will be able to download their CAT admission cards until the exam day using their CAT login ID. The CAT 2023 exam will most likely be held on November 27 at approximately 400 test centres throughout 156 cities. The exam will be held in three sessions, with each session lasting two hours. CAT 2023 Admit Card Sample

A sample admit card is provided here to assist candidates in understanding the information contained in the original admit card as well as the importance of correctly filling out all of the information on the application form. The CAT hall ticket will reflect the information given in the application form. Any errors on the admit card will result in the candidature being cancelled.

Note:

  • The CAT 2023 admit card will include the exam date and location.

Inconsistencies in the CAT Admit Card

Candidates are advised to double-check their admit cards to ensure that all information is correct, including spelling. If there are any errors on the admit card, candidates must notify the appropriate authority right away to get them remedied. To minimize any extra issues on exam day, the faults must be corrected as soon as possible.

Candidates should be aware that any digital or photocopy of the CAT admit card 2023 will not be allowed at the exam centre on exam day. Candidates must print the admission card on an A4 sheet and attach a passport-sized photograph (similar to the one uploaded in the application) to it.

In the following situations, candidates should notify the appropriate authorities:

  • If the candidate's name on the admit card is misspelt.

CAT 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must bring two copies of their CAT 2023 admit card as well as photographic identification (original and photocopy)

  • Candidates are allowed to exam hall, whom carry two copies of CAT 2023 admission card and a photo ID card (original with photocopy).
  • The authorities will offer a writing pad and pen for rough work, which will be returned after the test. On the writing pad, candidates will be required to write their name and registration number.
  • Candidates must present to the CAT exam centre at the time specified on their admission cards.
  • On the day of the test, candidates must utilise the Reference Number displayed on their admit card to locate the door/wing/lab at the test location.
  • Candidates should not sign their CAT admit card ahead of time.
  • Only within the exam hall, in front of the invigilator, is the admit card to be signed.
  • Candidates must attach a photo that is identical to the one that was uploaded with the CAT application form.
  • The use of a cell phone, calculator, IPad, or any other electronic device is prohibited in the examination hall.
  • Candidates are advised not to bring any bags or luggage to the CAT 2023 exam centre because there will be no facility to check bags or valuables.
  • Metal jewellery, clothing with pockets, jackets, and footwear are not permitted inside the exam room.
  • Candidates who have a metal implant, pacemaker, or other medical device in their body must bring a medical document stating so.

COVID-19 Guidelines CAT 2022

Candidates must follow the COVID-19 rules when taking the CAT 2022 exam.

  • Self-Declaration Form for CAT: Candidates must download, fill out, and bring the self-declaration form with them on the day of the exam. Candidates who arrive at the testing centre without a self-declaration form will not be permitted to take the test.
  • Social Distancing in the Exam Room: In the exam room, social distancing norms will be observed. Candidates will be required to sit according to the authority's seating plan.
  • Sanitization of the Exam Room: All of the exam room's equipment, including the computer, mouse, keyboard, and seat, will be sterilised.
  • Mask Requirement: When entering the exam centre, you must wear a mask. Candidates will also be required to wear a mask during the exam.
  • Thermal Gun to Check Body Temperature: Candidates' body temperatures will be checked using thermal guns. Candidates having a high body temperature will be denied entry to the examination hall.
  • Hand Sanitizer and Water bottle: Candidates may also bring their own tiny hand sanitizer and water bottle to the exam centre.

To the test hall, candidates must bring an ID evidence provided by the Government of India or their former college/university, as well as the CAT 2022 admit card. The following is a list of documents that they can use as identification:

Scribe Facility in CAT 2022

Candidates must download the Scribe Certificate format from the official website, fill in the details in that form, self-attest the certificate, and submit it while filling out the application form after choosing for the facility.

  • Scribes are authorised for PWD applicants with disabilities such as Visual Impairment, Locomotor Disability, and other disabilities.
  • On exam day, bring the Scribe Affidavit together with your admit card and photo ID.
  • A proper photo ID is also required of the scribe.
  • Candidates who choose the scribe option will be given additional exam time.
