  • The CAT Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning Syllabus, on the other hand, includes topics like as word puzzles, seating arrangements, and so on. The CAT Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus evaluates applicants on areas such as arithmetic, algebra, advanced mathematics, and so on.
  • The CAT 2023 Exam Pattern has also changed, and applicants are encouraged to download CAT Question Papers in order to gain a better knowledge of the new pattern and syllabus.

Quantitative Aptitude; CAT Syllabus 2023

Important topics of CAT Quantitative Aptitude

  • The aptitude part contains a total of 26 questions.
  • Out of all the topics, arithmetic carries the most weight. In reality, in terms of weightage in the CAT 2023 exam, maths comes in second after reading comprehension. The majority of problems in a quant section come from general themes such as profit and loss, number systems, geometry, and so on.
  • According to the graphs, 'arithmetic' has the greatest weight, followed by ‘modern math.' Topics in modern math include logarithms, progressions, set theory, permutation and combination, functions, and so on. In both CAT 2018 slots, there were a total of 12 TITA (Type in the Answer) questions.
  • Our advice is to concentrate on geometry, algebra, current mathematics, and, most significantly, arithmetic. In the quantitative portion, these topics are given the most weight.
