UCEED 2022 Application Form

Registration for UCEED 2022 began on September 9, 2021. UCEED registration has been extended until November 11, 2021. The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is used to admit students to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur (UCEED). Students in any discipline (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) who passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2021 or appeared in 2022 were eligible to take the exam.

What is the procedure for completing the UCEED 2022 Application Form?

Candidates are urged to fill out the UCEED online application form by following the instructions outlined below.

Candidates must first visit the official website and create their login credentials before filling out the form. Candidates' registration IDs are generated once they enter their name, phone number, date of birth, and email address. Candidates will receive an email from IIT Bombay on their registered email ID with their application number and password as soon as they furnish these credentials. The candidate's registered mobile number will also receive the complete details. Candidates can also use these credentials to check the status of their UCEED application.

• Fill in Personal Information: After successfully creating their registration ID, candidates must return to the official website, log in using their application number and password, and fill in the following information in each area. The information that must be submitted is listed below.

  • Alternate Email ID

• Offer Educational Qualification Information: Candidates must also provide information about their educational backgrounds. The information that must be submitted is listed below.
  • Year of passing/appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination

• Selection of Test centres: Aspirants need to select three test city choices where they want to appear for the exam. Candidates need to mention their first, second, and third preference for the exam centres. Once the application form is submitted, no request for a change in the test city is entertained.
• Important Documents to be Uploaded: Candidates need to upload digital/ scanned copies of the below-mentioned important documents along with their UCEED 2022 application form.

What is the procedure for completing the UCEED BDes Application Form at Participating Institutes?

Candidates must additionally complete the participating institute's BDes (Bachelor of Design) application form as part of the admissions process. To get admission to one of the four participating universities, candidates who pass the UCEED 2022 exam must meet the standards indicated below.

Required Documents for the UCEED 2022 Application Form

The following is a list of certificates and other documents that must be uploaded while registering for the exam online. The certificates must be in the format specified by the Central Government in the appendices below.

• A recent colour photograph shot within the last six months showing a full frontal (facial) view with the head centred in the frame spanning 70–80 percent of the photograph. The photograph should be such that the candidate can be identified without a doubt (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg will be accepted)
• On white paper, a scanned copy of the candidate's full signature (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg will be accepted)
• If you take the qualifying examination in 2020, you will receive a certificate (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted)
• A certificate from the school/college principal in the given format should be uploaded by candidates who will be taking the board exam in 2022. (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted). A gazette notification showing the change of name (only PDF formats with the file extension.pdf) will be allowed if the name is not the same as on the Class XII certificate. Fee for BDes Application Form

Candidates must pay the application fee in order to complete the application procedure. INR 2,000 is the application fee. The application fee can be paid by credit card, debit card, or online banking.
