SET 2022 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria are the minimum standards established by the conducting authority to determine if candidates are eligible to take the SET exam. Candidates must ensure that they meet the SET 2022 eligibility requirements before applying for any exam. Each degree or course has its own set of SET exam eligibility criteria 2022.

Eligibility for the SET Exam in 2022

The SET 2022 exam eligibility criteria have been established by Symbiosis University for programmes that are admitted via the SET general test. The schedule for the SET exam 2022 has been revealed. The SET 2022 eligibility criteria are the minimum marks/aggregate that candidates must have received in their most recent qualifying exam in order to be admitted to take the SET test 2022.

Eligibility for the SET Exam 2022 - BBA/ BBA (IT)

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board in order to apply for BBA and BBA (IT).
  • Candidates in the general category must have received at least 50 percent of the total marks.
  • Candidates from the SC/ST category must have obtained at least 45 percent in aggregate in their qualifying exams, and candidates who are currently enrolled in their final exams are also eligible to apply for SET BBA 2022.

Eligibility for the SSET BA Mass Communication Exam in 2022

  • For general category students, they must have passed the class 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • SC/ST candidates must have a minimum of 45 percent in order to be considered.
  • Candidates who have not yet received their results are also eligible to apply for the SET BA Mass Communication Exam 2022 if they submit their mark sheet within the second round of admission.

SET BSc Economics with Honours 2022 Exam Eligibility

  • Those who have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate.
  • SC/ST candidates must have obtained a cumulative score of at least 45 percent in their qualifying exams.

Eligibility for the SET BCA Exam 2022 BCA

  • 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage required for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category is 45 percent.

SET BA Hons. Liberal Arts

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate.
  • SC/ST students must have received at least 45 percent of the total marks in the qualifying examination.

Eligibility Criteria for the SET Exam 2022

The SET General Test, SET Law Test (also known as the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), and SIT Engineering Entrance Exam are all offered by Symbiosis Institute (SITEEE). Candidates are tested on a variety of subjects in each of the tests. The SET exam educational requirements for each of the courses are listed below in detail.

BBA Passed class 12 or equivalent examination with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
B.Sc Passed class 12 or equivalent examination.
B.Des Passed class 10+2 or equivalent/ 10+3 diploma.

Note: Indian candidates will be admitted to Symbiosis based on a merit list created from the outcomes of the SET 2022 and PIWAT selection processes.

SET Exam Eligibility 2022 PwD

The eligibility criteria for PwD candidates in the SET exam 2022 are listed below.

  • ID Proof: A certificate from the Medical Superintendent/ Civil Surgeon at a government hospital must be presented to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the 2022 SET.
  • Certificate Verification: A disability certificate must be certified/verified by Symbiosis Centre for Health Care (SCHC), Pune, in order to be admitted to this category.
  • Admissions: Students with any of the following disabilities, as well as a minimum of 40% damage, are eligible to apply.

Note: If any reserved seats remain available due to ineligible candidates, Symbiosis International University shall restore these seats to the general category and offer them to short-listed eligible students, with the consent of the Vice-chancellor seats.

Eligibility for FN/ PIO/ OCI/ NRI in ET Exam 2022

The following are the requirements for foreign nationals.

Foreign National: If a student is a citizen of a nation other than India and holds a foreign passport, they can apply for the Foreign National visa (FN).

Person of Indian Origin (PIO): All Persons of Indian Origin cardholders will be regarded Overseas Citizens of India cardholders, according to a Government of India notice issued on January 9, 2015.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI): A student can apply for OCI if they have been granted Overseas Citizenship of India and an OCI card.

Non-Resident Indian (NRI): Students who have completed Indian class 10, 10+2, or similar exams outside of India are eligible to seek for Non-Resident Indian status (NRI).

NRI students who have completed their 10th or 12th grade outside of India must apply for the following exams:

  • Symbiosis Entrance Tests include SCMS (Pune/NOIDA), SCMC, SICSR, SSE, SSLA, and SSCA (SET)
  • Design: Symbiosis Design Entrance Exam (SEED)
  • Law: Symbiosis Law Admissions Exam (SLAT)
  • Engineering: Engineering Entrance Exam at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SITEEE)

Note: Note that there is no single entrance exam for the UG programmes offered by SIHS and SCON.
